Northern Moose Alliance

Add Moose Resources

Add to the Northern Moose Alliance Resource Library

Thank you for helping build a shared library of moose-related research, resources, stories, and creative work!

By sharing reports, classroom projects, photographs, artwork, videos, and other materials, you help bring together many ways of knowing — from community-led research and Indigenous knowledge to creative expression and lived experience on the landscape.

Together, these contributions make it easier for communities, educators, journalists, and practitioners to understand what’s happening on the ground and why it matters.

All submissions are reviewed for relevance and appropriate permissions before being posted.

Guidelines

What Can Be Submitted

We welcome a range of materials that help tell the story of northern moose and the ecosystems they rely on, including:

  • Community-led research and Indigenous knowledge summaries
  • Classroom or student projects
  • Photographs you have taken of moose and want to share
  • Moose drawings, poems, or other art projects
  • Plain-language briefs that translate complex findings for broader audiences
  • Short videos or recorded presentations (hosted on platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, or Google Drive)
  • Supporting slide decks, infographics, maps, or other materials

If you are unsure whether a document or video is a good fit, feel free to submit it with a short note. We would rather review and ask a follow-up question than miss something important.

Scientists interested in sharing peer-reviewed articles or technical work can email Moose Scientist Adam Mortensen (adam.mortensen@nplsf.org) to discuss.

Before You Send

Before You Submit

Please double-check the following so we can process your submission smoothly:

  • Permissions: Make sure you have the right to share these materials publicly, or clearly indicate any restrictions, embargos, or citation requirements.
  • Credits: Identify the lead organization, key authors, and any funding acknowledgments that should be noted.

Not everything has to be “final.”
We recognize that some of the most useful information comes from ongoing projects and interim summaries. If your work is still in progress, just let us know in the description so readers understand the current status.
